You are right Larry, If you want to finish faster and better, follow the plans. Speaking from someone who knows. I've learned that lesson the hard way, but I have a tiger by the tail and can't let go. It seems to me, the average builder [ or builder wanting to fly with less time building, buy the plans and every prefab part you can afford to purchase and build it to plans.
12 years and counting Ron, I agree with you. i have been working on my KR2S since Jan. 1994. I have made several changes, which necesitated other changes and I am only about 3/4 way finished. I started out with the goal of finishing mine with $15,000. As it stands right now , I think I can do it on $18,000. Good luck, Ray Goree, Arlimgton, Tx.
