You are right Larry, If you want to finish faster and better, follow the plans. Speaking from someone who knows. I've learned that lesson the hard way, but I have a tiger by the tail and can't let go. It seems to me, the average builder [ or builder wanting to fly with less time building, buy the plans and every prefab part you can afford to purchase and build it to plans.
