      Just want to let you know what a nice job you did in explaining the 
anatomy of a taildragger landing.  It was a lot better, more complete, than my 
effort.   
      When I went thru flight training the Navy wanted landings to be tail 
wheel first.  Make sure the hook engaged.  Later on I built a WW1 SE5A replica. 
 If it wasn't landed the way you described in your article it was an invitation 
to a ground loop.  Anyway, I feel that if low time pilots read your ltr. and 
follow your advice they will surely benefit from it.         Regards,   Bob
