It was because they were running the ovens at to high a temperature during
the curing cycle( paint doesn't adhere to burnt paint). We [ most of us] are
using amb. temperature cure paint not oven dry. Amb cure paint is not as
durable as oven cure paint, the formulation has to be different.
Spray the all paint wet [but not to wet [runs]] or it will be sand paper
finish when cured. You should see a slight reflection of the gun in the
finish when spraying.  Carefully on the vertical surfaces.
