Simple Green is one, and somthing like "gunk be gone". I used it on my Z-car and it worked magic on some masking tape on the windshield.
The trick for your canopy is to use ELECTRICAL TAPE... no DUCT or MASKING tape... Electrical tape is MAGICAL on plexiglass.
