As Linda Bennett posted a while back, she forwarded $1864.00 give or take a dollar or two, and that should get things rolling with most of the up front expenses. We usually have a "beg" at the Saturday night banquet with the passing of the hat and the money we make from the banquet and tee shirts and hats will hopefully carry us for the following year. Linda said they started the 2002 Gathering with only $500 and managed to raise the pot to $1800 in two years. We owe them a big THANK YOU. I doubt if I'd have take on the host duties if there were considerable out of pocket expenses. So for now just squirrel away your funds for the trip, the banquet, the tee shirts and hats, etc, etc, etc and look forward to a good time. Larry Flesner Carterville, Illinois
