If even one ever flew it proves that it can be done.:-)

If you want to do aircraft searches I recommend going to
"AVWEB" site.  It gives a lot better search engine than
the "LANDINGS" site.

It's my understanding that with a motorglider you can fly with
a glider rating and "self-certify" on the medical.  Whether or not
you can "self-certify" if you have a known medical problem that
disqualifies you for a flight physical I don't know.
