Rick, My Diehl wing skins are vinyl ester. I used a product called OOPS. You can find it at hardware and paint stores. OOPS is made to remove dried paint, but the can says it can be used on fiberglass. Use gloves to protect your hands. Dampen a paper towel with the OOPS and just wipe the old duct tape residue right off. To hedge my bet, I wiped the bond surface with acetone before glueing with vinyl ester resin. Works just fine for me. Don't know about cleaning the plywood. Sid Wood KR-2 N6242 smw...@titan.com

There is also some on various plywood surfaces. I checked the archives on this but couldn?t find a definitive ?I know this is safe because I?ve done it? kind of post. Any suggestions for safe ways to remove adhesive residue from fiberglass -- and from plywood?
