The plane is plans built. (No the plans are not scaled at 100%.) You can 
both widen it (Mine is 3 inches wider) and heighten it (Mine will be 2 
inches higher). This means that the plane will be a little bit heavier and 
the preformed parts that can speed up the construction won't fit. However, 
the wings can be lengthened/modifies (winglets etc.) and the canopy changed 
with the same ease of the plans construction.

One person built a KR2 up to handle an IO-360 engine with a 26? ft wing 
spread. Its basic weight was right at the GW for a normal KR2S. Unlike the 
RV, or any of the kit,series of planes, the KR2 can be anything you wish.
