RE:    But now you are heating the plastic on flat sheet of steel and
picking it up hot?  This might be where the problem is or part of it.  You
may be stretching the plastic in ununiformed ways when handling.  ( I can
not believe this is what Todd is doing, this is his bread and butter, you
think he is going to tell you exactly?) 

I must not have explained this very clearly.

Todd did not tell me that is what he is doing.  I described the way I was
doing it, drape forming, and the way Marty told me he did, laying it on, and
asked him which way he thought was best and the told me Marty's would
probably be best.

He does not do anything like this.  He makes only bubbles with a totally
different process that I have no way of reproducing.

He has been very helpful and is trying to help me find an answer to my
continuing problem.
