You can still use the 33" templates.  Just cut out some rectangular holes
where the spars will go and slide them on (using the "hump" method shown at
http://home.hiwaay.net/~langford/kmlws23.jpg ).  I just looked at those
templates, which I created and sent to Dean, and they have the humps drawn
in already, as well as the spar cutout locations.  Also, although the 33" is
labeled as an AS5048, it's really an AS5046, which is a good thing.  Glue
foam to the end of the template and between the caps and it'll sand just
fine.

The airfoil templates located at http://www.krnet.org/as504x/templates.html
show a phantom spar cutout for the 30.69" chord template already, only
because that's the way I'd have done it.

To answer Kenneth's reply, I have no doubt that the foam spars are
structurally fine, but it's a whole 'nuther step that you wouldn't have to
do if the caps were longer, and the end result of a straighter wingtip would
be automatic, not something you'd have to work for.  But if it works for
you, that's great!
I guess it's just one of my weird preferences...
