You might want to sit in a friend's KR (a real good friend) and "pee in a cup", before you recommend flying a KR and 'pee in a cup'. It is not a Cessna. Your knees will be higher than your butt. And, you've got to put that cup SOMEWHERE. The desire to make those long trips in one huge bite has gotten a lot of good pilots killed. Besides, if you don't stop on the way to Oshkosh, how are you going to meet all those great people and show them the plane you are flying to Oshkosh? On the other hand, take a look at the Cessna AT-37. What a plane! It has two tanks or bombs under each wing. The possiblities of a couple of tanks under each wing that are about 8" diameter and 16" long would provide some extra baggage or fuel for the KR in the same way.
