Hello KR Builders,
My name is John Shandor. I have recently decided on the KR2S for my first
project. I have spent the last several months researching and have finally
made the decision. I have joined this group to get added info on my project.
I am also working toward my privite pilots certificate (18 hrs flight time).
I was looking through various sites and had an idea that might be of use to
some of you. I have used a product in my RC expeience for building aircraft
called Plans Saver. It is manufactured by Top Flite. It is a 3' wide by 25'
roll of clear plastic with a mild adhesive on the back. So far I have not
found any glue or adhesives that will stick to this stuff. I use T-88 and CA
to build RC and they come off the plans with out sticking. I was thinking of
covering my building table with this stuff before framing my boat. It is
available through Tower Hobbies for 5.95 a roll. I am looking forward to
some good conversations with you fine people. Happy building!!
