OK, I'm going to turn into a jerk now and put on my KRnet adminstrator's
hat. This thread should have "gone private" long ago. The email addresses
are clearly listed so there's no excuse for not doing it. There's nothing
in here that several hundred people need to read. And it flagrantly
violates the one thing that I keep harping on, deleting previous posts when
you reply to something. Check the bottom of the post...there are FIVE
"KRnet instructions" at the bottom. I've asked repeatedly that people
actually READ those instructions, which includes the following two comments.

For you people with short memories, I'll post them once AGAIN:

1) When replying to a post, delete everything except one or two key
sentences from the previous post. It's really ridiculous to have to search
thru 3 or 4 pages of stuff to find down at the bottom where some clown wrote
"me too". Carrying all that useless baggage around from previous posts also
gives people fits when searching the archives later, as they end up getting
10 hits for the same message.

12) Keep personal stuff offline. Finding that some other KRNetter is from
your neck of the woods isn't a good enough reason to bother us all with your
efforts to strike up an acquantance. Email him direct, rather than to the
list.

The rest of this list is located at http://www.krnet.org/instructions.html
and I would appreciate it if everybody would READ it and at least make some
small attempt to ABIDE by it!

Maybe public floggings will curtail it a little. Anybody that wants to
start a chat version of KRnet is more than welcome, but I won't be joining
you...
