I've ordered hundreds of bolts from Wicks, many in onesies and twosies, and >not once did they send me the wrong one. You order bolts from Wicks by part number, not by grip or length. >Mark Langford, Huntsville, AL +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++=
I agree with Mark. I've been ordering from Wick's for almost 14 years now and I don't EVER recall getting the wrong bolt or part for that matter. The buyer determines the "grip length" needed. The bolt chart has the "Nom." and "grip" spec's in the first colume. Find the bolt with the grip length you want, decide what type bolt you want, i.e. drilled head, drilled shank, etc., and determine the AN - - - part number to order. The only time I got the wrong size bolts is when I didn't determine the "grip" length properly. Something you builders just starting out might want to consider is adding a few bolts and other hardware to each order you place. It doesn't take long to build a nice inventory on hand and you don't have to wait or pay shipping each time you need a bolt. I would often add 5 of each AN - - - dash # up to say a 3 inch (length) bolt, add 100 washers, 100 each of different type nuts, etc. Larry Flesner
