Allen--- The pink polystyrene that is sold at Home depot does not dissolve in
gasoline, but it will dissolve in MEK, etc. My whole plane is made of the pink
polystyrene foam.My first KR's fuel was made of fiber-glass and epoxy. The
tank has had no problems using auto gas or 100 No Lead. The tank is 20 years
old now and is still in use in another plane. So if you want to use the pink
foam, go for it because gas will not attack it.
