Did you actually GET attachments or did you just see the little paperclip
that says it was SENT with an attachment?  On KRnet, the paperclip icon
makes it but the attachment doesn't, for the very reason you stated,
viruses.  I realize that a lot of people don't like it that we don't do
attachments here, but all it would take is a virus going to several hundred
people to cure that attitude.  Even if you have antivirus protection, it's a
little disconcerting to receive a virus from 50 different people who don't
have it.

If anybody wants to set up someplace where members can drop photos for
viewing by the group, that's fine with me.  It would be nice if it was NOT
someplace like Angelfire where you kill ten minutes killing all of the
annoying popup windows...
