Dear Damiao, I have simply pointed out, repeatedly, that the metric system of measurement and the political and economic systems of the nations that use it ARE NOT the economic engine that has driven the world for the past 200 years. We are. Facts can be uncomfortable things. The personal attacks on me from the likes of you and dana Overall are unplesant. However, I do take great satisfaction in seeing that what you each have thrown my way is merely your opinion and your emotional reaction to my statement of the facts. You are entitled to your emotional opinions and Dana to his foul mouth. Neither provides any evidence to refute anything I have said. Once again we are in a war where Americans are risking our blood and treasure to keep ourselves and others free of terrorism. As usual, we and the British are doing it largely alone.
