One exception: the KR2 being a 2 seat aircraft, and not an ultralight, must have a private license to operate. Dana is correct: paragraph i(1) of the FAR 61.31 states that anyone desiring to act as pic must have a one time training and endorsement for acting as pic for a tailwheel airplane.
