Mark, Your update was great. I'm about at the same stage with my cowl. I'm going to use your suggestion of sheet rock mud. I used a dry micro slurry and it was a disaster. In your text descriptions you mentioned that you were going to put on two layers of glass then pop the cowl off and put on two more layers on the inside. Why are you not putting all four layers of glass on the outside of the mold before you pop the cowl off?
