Thanks for this post! This is why reply all is so cool. I am working on my tach issue. GPASC doesn't sell the Tach Adaptor with the Compu-Fire ignition, so I'm in the process of designing up a diode circuit to hook up the two coils so that I don't read 1/2 RPM. (Current problem de jour). The note about a 1000ohm resistor is an interesting one to prevent the tach shorting the ignition. I know if the tach sending wires are grounded, it will suppress one half of the coil. (Old story, but 1/2 VW sounds pretty good). I've got some recent KR photos getting placed on CD, and my old n541ry.com domain is now mine again, so I should have some new photos up by the end of the labor day weekend. Subject: KR>Tach
