The folks at Ellison Fluid Systems are terrific! I shipped them my EFS-2 to have them take a look,and it came back Thursday (about 1 week later). $62.00 later and all the parts that might have been gummed up by my bonehead use of Auto gas, then letting it sit for two years has been cleared up!
I had my KR running like a champ this afternoon. I was going to taxi test, but forgot to remove the wheel chocks, then when I got around to removing it, and putting the cowling back on... well dummy had left the master on and the battery hadn't been fully charged... so at any rate, it wouldn't start. I think I have a problem with my tach reading 1/2 speed. My compu-Fire ignition has two leads from the two coils, and I only have one hooked up... that's my suspicion. I am talking with the COMPU-FIRE folks via email to see what the "tach" adaptor they sell really is. I suspect it is a couple of diodes.
