I would think the PBC would have the same strength or better than the plywood but I would want to know what kind of resin was used in the manafacture of the PBC. If it's made from a vinal ester product, then that's what I would use to glue it to the wood. If it's made from an epoxy resin I would use an epoxy resin glue. It's not a question of the type of glue used for the wood, it has to do with the bonding properties between the glue and the PBC.
