My turtle deck is removable using a single piano hinge the length of the
deck on each side.  I think it's a good idea in the event you have
maintenance in that area i.e.: flight control cables.  Mike Meyer also has a
removable fwd deck, I liked it so much I'm going to do the same.  As a
Mechanic of 20 years I can imagine the KR is a tough acft to work on unless
you build in access.
