I'd be interested to see a list of the Corvair engines that have failed in
some way that led to your opinion that they are somehow unreliable.

Also, I've looked at EFI pretty hard, and determined that the multiple modes
of failure that it introduces, not to mention the extra weight,  far offsets
any increase in performance, or the undeniable benefit of eliminating carb
ice problems, but that's just my opinion...
