If any airplane should be short-coupled and pitch sensitive (just by
observation), it would be the Questair Venture. But it isn't (read the
flight test info at http://www.airbum.com/pireps/PirepQuestairVenture.html )
so it must be "something to do with the elevators" ;o)

Yes, it is the Questair that I was referring to as being thought to be short
coupled.  Look at the chord of the main wing.  It is short.  It is the
relationship between the chord length and the distance between the two that
makes it short coupled or not.

I know there is someone out there who knows the real definition of this.
