Yesterday I finally got a chance to fly again in between the rain and work. I thought I'd mention this for those of U following my dive brake exploits and post another update.
My cruise speed is rather low considering what some guys are getting, but at full cruise ( 135 mph ) I can deploy the brake fully with no adverse affect to handling or flyability. Also, there is no disruption of the air flow over the tail surfaces as some have stated. Obviously I didn't just yank the thing to full deflection but went through the 3 positions in approx 10 seconds. If you fly the pattern the way your supposed to and set up properly on final, this setup works great considering how simple it is. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
