Dan I've had good results taking two lengths of aluminum angle and covering
them with duct tape.  Then clamp them on the training edge with the
perpendicular leg at the training edge and the parallel leg along the
surface.  You have to be careful with the clamps to make sure you don't
over-tighten them and cause any waves in the training edge.  If you set it
up straight it will hold the trailing edge in alignment as it cures.
