Justin,
Go to the KRnet.org web site, look under my name, (last one under projects)
and you will see a "gullwing door". I chose to go with a single gullwing
that opens up 60 percent of the top rather than two doors which would
have been a bit small. Also, with a single door I can help my passanger
in and out so they don't destroy my wing. The passanger side panel
is removable for maintenance and also serves as an emergency exit.

My fixed windshield is the forward portion of a broken Pulsar canopy. It
fit very nicely on a standard width KR2 and I'm sure it could be widened
a bit. I chose to go vertical for a bit above my top longerons to give
myself more headroom. I had to do some trimming around the front edge
and did a foam build-up from the top longerons to meet the bottom of
the glass but again, I raised mine for headroom. I'm 6' 4" tall. I used
a standard KR "half bubble" for the glass in the gullwing door and the
passanger side panel. I lucked out in that they were both tinted the
same color. I got the broken Pulsar canopy as a "gift". Some days
you just get lucky!

In the priming stage, placing decals on the panel, and hope to be
flying this summer.
