The nose of the pants was removed and small round lights were imbedded into the that spot. The wires were run up the gear legs. Two lights can be used, one aimed for landing and the other for taxi. It should not take too much imagination. If the lights are planted too deep in the pants, the removed nose section could be used to form a clear plexi lens.
