Only one "final" inspection required in the USA. Different independent DAR's have charges that vary widely. Some are free and some charge an arm and a leg. Shop around and get them in the loop early. Get the FSDO DAR for free if you can but good luck. Some regional FSDO's are happy to do it and some almost refuse (claim too busy, yea,right. It's their job).
