When iFLy came out with the 720, I jumped on it right away because they boasted
of their anti-glare screen. When I received he unit, that is the first thing
that I checked on. Much to my surprise, it was, indeed, very anti-glare.
However, I did have some problems with it and they agreed to swap it out for a
new one. When I started using the new one, and checking to see if the problems
were solved, I kept thinking that this was not so anti-glare as I thought. The
other problems were resolved, but this kept bugging me. So, I had some long
conversations with the people at iFly. I finally found out that they had
abandoned the anti-glare screen because one of the owners preferred a screen
that was brighter. I gave them a couple pieces of my mind over that and don't
think that I have ever gotten them back. Who would do such a stupid thing?

I agree that like many other devices, the iFly 740 definitely needs an anti
glare sheet on top. I don't think I even tried to use mine without an
anti-glare cover.
