Mark, This is a iefis g3 firmware upgrade from mgl?s website. I believe it was ported to the g2 iefis what is probably what you have. Hope this helps?.

EMI spurious emissions over a larger frequency band thereby reducing peak power at any one specific frequency. This aids in suppressing radio RX noise from EFIS in compromised installations. I'll have to write a web page on that, and it'll take months. Suffice it to say that mine will change the FM radio in my hangar from perfect reception of a local station to complete "white noise" as soon as I flip the iEFIS on, and that's running off a backup battery with nothing else in the circuit! And they think I have bad grounds, alternator, ignition, whatever it takes...but that's not what my oscilloscope says, and the FM radio agrees! And it goes WAAAAY deeper than RFI, trust me. More on that as the web page progresses.
