Yes, I used the Aircraft Spruce KR2 canopy on my KR2S. Photos are on my web site on the "Finishing" page, but I didn't note a lot of detail. I installed it exactly per plans instructions. www.robert7721.com 2. I don't think there would be a huge disadvantage with the KR2 canopy regarding drag. It is definitely physically smaller than the others and is better suited to small pilots and passengers. I am small at 5'5" and it works for me and passengers less that 5'10". But when scratch building the aft deck, you can always build higher - but you get more drag. 3. Sorry, can't help on that.
