Greetings KR folks, 1) I am looking for any KR / VW folks in the central California area I might be able to meet and have a look at my KR project. I?m looking for rational on what?s there (original builder died, no info from family), and advice on moving the project forward. I?ve built before, but not VW and not KR.
2) The original builder had a POSA carb, but then changed it to a Lectron float carb: http://www.lectronfuelsystems.com <http://www.lectronfuelsystems.com/> Anyone know anything about these Lectron carbs? Were they the HAPI float carb? Larry, sorry about the problems with pictures and "all the slime balls of the world", I didn?t realize you needed a flikr account to just to view pictures.
