Need to mention Just crack the throttle. I hand propped my KR with all three VW engines the 75hp and the 0200 (until I could afford a starter. I would either have someone stand against the tail or tie the tail to a post. On the VW I just stood against the wing. It's like landing a tail wheel plane. Everything goes well as long as you pay attention.
