If it was just for building a KR I would say you could probably build it faster, and certainly cheaper without a CNC, but most of us building planes are tinkerers and can find plenty of other uses for it also.

Between the two tools, he and his business partner now have new careers and more work than they can do. Personally, I found a CNC table router to be quite useful in building molding for composite parts using tooling foam, but it really requires a 5 axis tool. -Jeff Scott Los Alamos, NM
