Joe,
Really nice workmanship on the new KR, your shop reminds me of mine sans the
TV. I have not got my KR-2 out of Phase 1 testing and you are inspiring me
to start on another, perhaps a KR-2S this time. Anyone interested in a new,
Phase 1 KR-2 with Great Plains 2180 VW and electronic displays?

I have been doing a bit here and there to keep moving on the Dr. Dean custom
KR. Today I finished shaping all the fairing foam to the tail group. Took me
awhile thinking about it to decide how I wanted it to look. Not exactly how
I wanted it to turn out but still will look pretty slick when it gets
painted up. The turtle deck will be removable and an additional removable
cover from over the rear control horn area. I also got it worked out so the
fairing covers the hole that is needed for the elevator to travel up and
down. That is a leak that i didn't want again. 5 or 6 hours today to do the
same amount of work that took me weeks on the first plane.
