I think $25 is too cheap. I understand that when you volunteer to handle a
"Gathering" you will be making a sizable donation of your time and talent.? I
do not expect you to come 'out of pocket".We all know what things cost
now-a-days.? $25.00 doesn't go very far.? Budget carefully and if you think
there will be a shortage, don't be shy about telling us.? We're all grown-ups.

Good question. I need to rent chairs and tables and some food service
equipment. Awards, coffee, water and such. Plus we are trying to perpetuate the
gathering funds for future events. The hats and shirts will pay for themselves
with a little left over. And I stress "little".? Fortunately the venue is no
charge to us.
