I am working on my tail wheel taday and also wondering what I can do to reinforce the attach points.? I have installed additional 1/2 by 1/2 spruce suports in the tail section secured by T-88. ? I am using spring steel. The attaching bolt holes are spaced approximately 8 inches apart to disperse the landing loads. Side note; Spring steel takes some effort to shape.
