I read this and went and looked at nV aero site, and read the latest update from Jan 10. This update kind of explains the situation. I think what we have is an honest, sole source for KR parts and supplies, with lead times which can vary widely. I went through this with another aircraft supplier (long lead times, not great communication), who is highly honest guy who just couldnt keep up and, in my opinion, needed to do way better at business communication. I dont know if this post will help, except that it shows we are not alone with KR's. Maybe I should order my plans now, way ahead of time. Parts and Plans Availability.http://www.nvaero.com/blog/parts-and-plans-availability/ Posted on January 10, 2015Parts and and plans lead times may vary considerably depending on our workload and suppliers. We are not a large company with several employees. nV Aero is a company operated by one person with assistance from local shops and people who want to provide support to the KR community. This is more a labor of love as opposed to a money making venture. We have a real job outside nV Aero to pay the bills and keep the lights on. If you have any questions on parts or builder support, email is the best mode of contact. If you call, leave a message as our availability during the day is limited due to working a real job. Any profit made from the sale of parts and supplies goes directly back into materials and fabrication of parts to ensure the continued support for the KR series of aircraft. Threatening phone calls or emails will not help. Please be patient, you will receive your order. Sincerely,nV Aero
