Here is the deal from my perspective. For all the years at Mt. Vernon, the Holiday Inn was the "official" hotel. So, for the great majority of those staying a hotel, that is where we stayed. It provided us with an opportunity to get together over breakfast and to catch rides, all going to the same place, and to join up before going to dinner, as we did last year as documented in that great picture of us all at that very long table at that great restaurant.
