Mark and those that live in the Land of the Frozen?.. Me too? I have a couple hangar doors one overhead and another bi-fold?. for the ice problem that freezes the door down, I have installed a heat tape like those that are installed around water pipes in the hollow seal at the bottom of the door?. pulled it through with a tape wire and installed the blank end on one end and the controller on the other hooked up to a long drop cord that travels with the door and yet reaches the plug in? electricity usage about like t 30 watt bulb? it has always kept the seal from freezing down? still have to move the snow or ice just outside? a bit difference Mark cause I?m in Iowa not Wisc or Minn? jw
