OK 200lb more than the prototype (which has not been matched that anyone knows 
about) weight and 100lbs more than the lightest ones reported in the 
newsletters, 
I guess the next learning questions are 
what adds weight over original? do pre-molded wing skins add, or reduce, 
weight?are most KR1's using the original 17ft wingspan?
I'm going to guess that the newer bigger engines are heavier, adding starter 
and alternator and battery is 40-50lb, radios and other things beyond basic 
instruments maybe 15-20lb. what else on weight consideration?
This info I'm getting from list and newsletters is immensely helpful in 
planning the upcoming KR1 project, mostly because it will help me define a 
specific outcome to use as a goal, so thanks to anyone who has added their 
replies. :)
