Most carriers will not accept an engine unless it's in a box (plywood) and on a pallet. When I bought my engine it was shipped from Kansas to Portland Oregon via FedEx Freight. Engine and box was 320 lbs. I believe it was around $200.00. If you use PayPal book your shipping through them and save. Hope this helps
