?I knew the person that was involved i n this crash.He contacted me shortly 
after he bought this kr2 as he had seen some posts and videos of my kr on the 
net.We talked about flying the kr and some of the ways that it handled?in 
flight. The plane that he bought had been flown for a number of hours by 
another pilot but had not flown in a while. He had issues on the first test 
flights as the tail seemed to want to drop rather quickly when it landed.After 
this he was going to make some changes to the trim system and then fly again. I 
had?the chance to visit with him on one of my trips through his area and he 
showed me the plane and some of the changes that he was making. He flew the 
plane after these changes and would send me pics of where he had flown. At this 
time he said the plane was flying great and he was having a great time.He asked 
about different maneuvers that he used to do in some of his past planes and i 
said that i had not done them in my KR nor would i. It was shortly after this 
that i recieved a notice from his family that he had been killed in his plane 
when it crashed. He was a very nice man and i considered him my friend. ? ?Kip
