That would be the kit that is built into the leading edge of my vertical stab. During one flight home from the Gathering in Mt Vernon, I was over mid Oklahoma and was able to talk to Steve and Richard (both using handhelds) near Amarillo,TX, and at the same time was also talking to Charlie and Lee (also both using handhelds) over mid Missouri. By my estimation, that's a pretty decent range for broadcast and receive.
