I'd be inclined to start from scratch with the new struts. Clamp them to the spar bracket undrilled, locate them properly, drill one hole and snug with a bolt. Then drill the rest of the holes going through the bracket, at least enough to mark them and then take the leg off and finish drilling the holes. Only way to insure a perfect fit is to match to the bracket, not the old struts as you may want a slightly different orientation. Your results may vary........... Larry Flesner
