Fixed my air compressor problem by buying a new unit. Got the $179.99 sale compressor from Harbor Freight for $149.99 by using my Inside Track Club card. All of my current equipment and air accessories will work with the new higher capacity compressor. Thanks for the suggestions. Spray painting shall re-commence very soon.
