I use "Microsoft Office Frontpage 2003". It has a very easy user interface. I have two small businesses and it works very good for me. I have many web pages and many pictures on my websites.
The Microsoft Office Frontpage 2003 software can be had on ebay for $60 Buy it now. It can be had for even less through the auction process. I know there are newer website building software programs available, for example, Dreamweaver from adobe, but they are also more expensive. From what I've seen on most KR Builders websites, frontpage would work great and it's easy to use. In addition, there are free and very easy step by step training instructions on how to use the software program at Microsoft' website. (search "frontpage 2003 online training") It's very easy. Don't need to know HTML. Don't need to know how to build a website. It has a very simple user interface. I use GoDaddy.com to host my sites for less than $5.00 a month. I also purchased my domain names there for around $10.00 per year/ea. Very good, free, tech support. What's nice about using Frontpage (or any other brand of web building software) is that the web site actually resides in a folder on my computer. I open Frontpage, open the folder that contains my website, edit or create new pages, and when I'm finished I just click a button to upload a copy of it to the server at godaddy. I like having complete control over the design and layout of my websites. I also like knowing the folder that contains the original copy of my websites, is on my hard drive and backed up on my flash drive, DVD, or even another computer. I own it, I control it, and I have multiple copy's backed up. I would like to upload a considerable number, (50+) photos like my tail light which we recently discussed. I have a web site but it is outdated and I have no idea of the password or how to get in to the site and make changes. Mark Langford set it up for me years ago. At this point it is nothing more than a stone tablet, you can read it but you're not going to alter it in any way. :-) Anyway, some site where computer dummies can just post photos and maybe a tag to go on them. Thanks........ Larry Flesner _______________________________________________ Search the KRnet Archives at http://tugantek.com/archmailv2-kr/search.
